Mini Cheero Danboard

Cheero recently released their mini version of the Revoltech Danboard. I love how they put the details of the Cheero Danboard battery into the little Mini Danboard.  It's currenlty available in Japan. Here are some photos I took for Cheero.

Yu-Pack Danboard

Happy Friday! Yesterday I received a Yu-Pack Danboard and it is too cute! What's unique about this Danboard is that Yotsuba Studio teamed up with Japan Post to make it. There even is a Twitter account for this special Danbo! (@Yu_packdanbo) It's a nice addition to my growing Danbo collection.

Midday Stroll

The Danbos enjoy the arrival of Autumn.

I am thrilled Autumn is finally upon us. The weather around here is finally cooling down and that brings sweater weather. I already have Danbo's Halloween costume planned out and I am excited to make it.

Paper Hats & Sword Fights

Earlier this year I was intruduced to Sphero and I have had a blast shooting them. It was a challenge at first since it's very different from Danboard, but I concurred that after a lot of photo experiments. To show you what I have done, here is a short story I did of the Spheros.

Flowers for Mom

Yesterday was my Mom's birthday and for her special day I wanted to surprise her with some flowers. My plan was to get up early and have them waiting on the table, but I sadly over slept. She was still surprised when I came out the store with the flowers in hand. Besides my Mom enjoying the flowers, the Danbos seem to enjoy them as well.

A Long Weekend at Disneyland Part 2

Finally! It was the day of the Disneyland Half Marathon. My Mom and I got up at 3 am, did our prep and went down to the corrals. Compared to the WDW Half Marathon, it was nice to walk down to the corrals instead of taking a bus. The race started at 5:30 and we didn't get to start until almost 6. We first ran through Disney California Adventure, entering right by Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta. The run through Disney California Adventure went by fast and before we knew it, we were running down Main Street USA and exiting through Mickey's Toontown.
After that, the run went by quickly. It was a thrill to run in Angel's Stadium. My Mom was more excited than me. ^^; Once the Disneyland Hotel came into view, we knew we were almost done and sped up to the finish line. It was such a relief to finish. We both beat our time from the WDW Half Marathon by 5 minutes!
Immdialty after we received our medals and got our photos taken, we rushed to the hotel, showered and went straight into the park. It was almost lunch time so we decided to get corn dogs from the Little Red Wagon before the line got too long.
After lunch we went on a couple of rides and went back to the hotel to nap.
Since we had lunch at Club 33 earlier that weekend, we wanted to give dinner a try. We planned dinner around 8pm and once again we arrived ten minutes early to check out the lounge. For a Sunday night it was crowded and we still managed to get seats until our table was ready. The menus are almost identicial. The only differene is that dinner has a seafood and cheese course, making that a total of six courses. I'm a very selective eater so I opted out of those courses. For my first course I ordered Primed New York of Beef Seared Black and Blue with Tarragon-Roasted Garlic Purée. In between courses we got a small sample of Lobster Pot Pie and it was yummy!
Before my parent's got their second course I went onto the balcony and try to see Fantasmic. The view was okay, but I stood out there the entire the for the show. Since the view of Fantasmics was a slight downer, it was nice to see some of the fireworks my our table.  I skipped the second course and wait straight for my main course (fourth course) and had the Pasta with Cheese Sauce from the children's menu once again. Next time I will order the filet. Then for dessert I got a Mickey Cookie with ice cream. (Another item from the children's menu) By the time we were done with our four hour dinner, we slowly strolled out. On our way out I managed to take some photos of the women's restroom and it's lovely.

Last day came far too soon. We took the omnibus down Main Street and rode a lot of rides in Fantasyland. Then we went into Toontown and later DCA.

After wondering around in DCA, it was time to go back to the hotel and cool off. We packed up and went back into the park at night. We had to get up early the next morning for our flight home, so we ended the night early.

That concludes this two part blog. Thanks for reading!

A Long Weekend at Disneyland Part 1

Hello! One thing I was excited about starting this blog was sharing my photos from my trips to Disneyland! I made sure I took plently of photos to share. I'll be splitting this post into two parts. Let's begin!

We arrived at the Disneyland Hotel and immidialty went straight to the Health and Fitness Expo to pick up our bibs for the Disneyland Half Marathon. After we picked up our bibs we got in line for the Official Run Disney merchandise and spent a little too in that area. By the time we got out, it was already after four. Once we unpacked, we went into the park and walked around. At this point we were exhausted, but we decided to stay until dark to ride the Mark Twain at night.

The next day we had lunch reservations at Club 33 around 1:45. It was our first time visiting the club since the renovations and I was excited. Also during this trip to the club was that we were meeting with Cheero USA as well. We arrived a little early for our reservations and sat in the La Salon Nouveau before our table was ready.

Once our table was ready, we were escorted into the Le Grand Salon.
I didn't take any photos of what I had for lunch since I only ordered from the children's menu and just had pasta with cheese sauce. That changed when I went back for dinner later that weekend, but that is in the next post. Overall we had a amazing time. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered and loved every bit of the new club.

By the time we left, it was past four. We said our goodbyes to Cheero USA and went back to the hotel.

The next morning I went into Disneyland for early admission. That hour before park opening is always my favorite. The crowds are low and the lines are short. Plus it is always my favorite time to take photos.  After early admission was over, we went of a few rides and had lunch at Rancho Del Zocalo.
We ended the day early and rode it's a small world before we headed back to the hotel. The half marathon was the next morning, so we made sure we were well rested.
