Holiday in Hawaii

Here are some of Danbo's highlights Maui. I will post Mia Rabbit's in the next post. 

Danbo spotted a hibiscus as big as her.

During our trip, we explored Kapalua and found a path by the ocean. Danbo surely enjoyed gazing out.

Later on our trip we visited Iao Valley.

The trip went by fast. On our last evening, the Danbos strolled the beach and watch the waves.

"365 Days of Danboard" Photo Exhibit Coming to Nagoya

Looks like my photo exhibit is coming to Nagoya! The photo exhibit starts December 27, 2014 and ends January 1, 2015.  If you weren't able to visit the exhibit in Osaka, here is another chance to see it! It will take place at Nagoya PARCO. Addmision is free :)

Mini Cheero Danboard

Cheero recently released their mini version of the Revoltech Danboard. I love how they put the details of the Cheero Danboard battery into the little Mini Danboard.  It's currenlty available in Japan. Here are some photos I took for Cheero. 

Yu-Pack Danboard

Happy Friday! Yesterday I received a Yu-Pack Danboard and it is too cute! What's unique about this Danboard is that Yotsuba Studio teamed up with Japan Post to make it. There even is a Twitter account for this special Danbo! (@Yu_packdanbo) It's a nice addition to my growing Danbo collection.

Midday Stroll

The Danbos enjoy the arrival of Autumn.

I am thrilled Autumn is finally upon us. The weather around here is finally cooling down and that brings sweater weather. I already have Danbo's Halloween costume planned out and I am excited to make it.

Flowers for Mom

 Yesterday was my Mom's birthday and for her special day I wanted to surprise her with some flowers. My plan was to get up early and have them waiting on the table, but I sadly over slept. She was still surprised when I came out the store with the flowers in hand. Besides my Mom enjoying the flowers, the Danbos seem to enjoy them as well.

"365 Days of Danboard" Photo Exhibit Coming to Osaka

Through October 8 - October 20,  my photos from "365 Days of Danboard" will be up for display at Daimaru Shinsaibashi (North Building) in Osaka! The exhibit includes photo that were not included in the book. If you missed the exhibit that was earlier this year at the Sunshine 60 in Tokyo, here is your chance to see it in Osaka.

Hello September

I'm a few days late posting what this month's photo is from the Le Danboard due to traveling. Day 201/366 perfectly descrbes what I want to do this month. Catch up on sleep! 

Drained Battery

We are half way through the week and I feel completely drained. After traveling all day Monday, I just can't get a hold of the week. Tomorrow is going to be another exciting day. We are going to Disneyland! I have been counting the weeks for this trip and I cannot believe it is time to go. One thing I am excited about this trip is running the Disneyland Half Marathon. My Mom and I ran the WDW Half Marathon in January, so we are even more excited to get a coast to coast medal.

A Week in Worcester

Recently got to spend a week with my brother before he started up school again. Since he moved into a new dorm, I spent half the time cleaning and organizing for him. 

After a day of cleaning, I waited until the light was just right for some Danboard photos. I kept switching between my iPhone and my camera during shooting. I love the shots I got and I can't wait to edit them. Since I am being "lazy", I am just using the photos I took with my iPhone. 

While I was shooting, someone recognized Danbo! Some say they have seen it online in photos, but have never seen one in person. It is always nice to allow people to see Danbo in real life.

After that I didn't do as much shooting as I wanted to. I think watching the Simpsons marathon took some time away. Our parents came up near the weekend to help with some cleaning and several trips to Target.

By Sunday everything we needed to get done for my brother's dorm was done. We think he now has the cleanest dorm in his building since no one cleaned it before. The next day was our last day with my brother before we headed home. I could tell he was tired of us and just wanted to get back to his normal routine. So we went out for lunch together at Nu Cafe and left for the airport. It was nice spending a week with my brother and I can't wait for him to come home in a couple of months.

Beach Vacation 2014

Last month I went to the beach with my family for a few days. The weather was nice and rained almost every day. One thing I enjoyed about being at the beach was catching up on some reading and taking Danbo photos in the sand.
